Leg Theory started from my pole dance hobby and a simple wish to create pieces I genuinely wanted to wear myself. I have a wardrobe full of clothes, but I still know the feeling of wanting something new. Instead of creating another full outfit, I wanted Leg Theory pieces to bring a different feeling to things you already own.

Each piece is designed to add something distinctive while staying clean, versatile and easy to style. Fabrics are chosen carefully, with quality and movement in mind. The idea is to give you more styling possibilities from your existing wardrobe, whether that means changing the silhouette, adding texture or simply making something familiar feel exciting again.

Leg Theory is an independent one-person label based in Amsterdam. I work in very small quantities and grow the brand carefully. Producing this way often means fewer factory options and higher costs per piece, but it allows me to stay close to what I am making and avoid producing more than I realistically need.

I do as much as I can myself, from the website and orders to creative direction, photography and packing, because I want to keep the pieces as accessible as I can while building the brand at a scale that makes sense. Because of that, I really appreciate thoughtful purchases. If you are unsure about sizing, fit, styling or whether a piece will work for you, please message me before ordering.
